The front desk is the system
Patients, tenants or customers call one number, and the same three people answer it, schedule, confirm and chase. The assessment shows which of those steps never needed a person.
AI consulting · Merrillville, Indiana
The region's commercial crossroads is full of companies with thirty people and three systems that don't talk. We sit down with all of them and write the plan.

Merrillville is where Northwest Indiana does business at scale. Office parks and medical groups along US-30, distributors and fleet operations off I-65, corridor retail with regional managers instead of an owner at the counter. The companies here passed twenty people a while ago, and most carry the symptoms that come with it: a front office that answers, schedules, confirms and follows up at the same time; a billing team retyping what intake already typed; managers running the day out of a group text and a spreadsheet only one person understands.
That is the size the AI Opportunity Assessment is built for. Over two weeks we sit down with people at every level of the company, from the owner or administrator to the person who actually does the thing, and follow real work from first contact to paid. We tag every step that eats hours or causes errors, put a number on each, and place the findings by impact and effort. Then you get the plan: what to do first, what is a big swing, what to leave alone, and the math behind it.
Nothing goes in the plan you have not already seen and argued with. Nothing in it requires buying software from us. We charge for the thinking. Building is optional. Merrillville is close, so the interviews happen at your place, on your schedule, usually inside the first week.
What we tend to find
Patients, tenants or customers call one number, and the same three people answer it, schedule, confirm and chase. The assessment shows which of those steps never needed a person.
Details go into the intake form, then the scheduling tool, then billing. In a thirty-person office that is a full-time job nobody was hired for.
Managers pull numbers from four places to answer one question. A weekly report that assembles itself is usually the first quick win on the map.
The assessment
The AI Opportunity Assessment runs the same way everywhere: we sit down with the people doing the work, map how a job actually moves, and hand you a written plan for where AI actually helps. Yours to keep, whether we build it or your own people do.

Crown Point, Schererville and Valparaiso are all within half an hour of the interchange. The assessment runs the same way in each.
Questions
Yes. We interview at each location and map the work across them, because the handoffs between sites are usually where the hours go. The plan covers the whole group, with the roadmap ordered by which site to start with.
Thirty to forty-five minutes per interview, somewhere between three and fifteen interviews depending on your size, all inside the first week. The delivery date is set on day one, so it never drags.
Almost never. The plan works with what you have and names the two or three places around it where work is still done by hand. If a tool genuinely needs replacing, the plan says so and says why.
